When we were on the beach one afternoon at high school summer camp this seal was sunbathing on the shore. Several of our students got a kick out of watching and listening to it. Special warning… never try to pet a wild seal. They don’t like it and will let you know by hissing as a couple of us found out.
After long a drive up to Ojai, Ca we have finally made it to Forest Home Ojai Valley summer camp! We have such a fun group and we’re looking forward to what God is going to do in a lot of their lives. Thanks to everyone who prayed for a safe travel up here. Leave comments and prayers for the week for your campers if you’d like. We will post some pictures soon!

It was a great year for our middle school midweek program, Superlife Live! Every Wednesday we saw lots of students show up to have fun and learn about God in ways they hadn’t experienced before. Below are some pictures from our last night at Superlife Live. We’ll start back up again in a couple months! But don’t forget we still have Superlife Service on Sunday mornings at 9:30am at BC High School mini-auditorium.
Leave a comment on what your favorite Superlife Live memory was!
Bottom line is mothers have a lot to do with why we’re here and who we are. They do the work that often times goes unnoticed and unappreciated, but should never be taken for granted because their caring and love for their kids is what shapes and molds the future. And when I take a look at the moms I know and see around me, our future looks very good. Thanks moms for all you do for your children. You are loved!
Both our high school and 7-8 grade summer camps are full, which is awesome! We’re so excited about the weeks of camp coming soon! If you would like to go and you didn’t sign up in time there is still a good possibility of going. You can register and we will put you on the waiting list and let you know as soon as space opens up.
Looking forward to a great summer camp experience!
